I remember, once upon a time, when sporting wildly colored locs was reserved for special occasions ie: Halloween.

Today, ‘colored’ hair has become more mainstream than ever. Yes, there were always those who were bold enough to rock the look when no one else had to guts to do such a thing; think Lil’ Kim. But now it seems everyone else is catching on. Thanks Nicki.

If I were to hop on the color train, I would probably do it like up and coming rapper Azealia Banks. Loving her mermaid tresses. Check out who’s been rocking bright locks below…

We’ve agreed that she is quietly reinventing the style game right now.
